Congress trading, this week
Every stock trade disclosed by a member of Congress or the executive branch in the last seven days. Ranked by size, with the gap between when each trade happened and when the public was told.
Covering filings between 20 Jul 2026 and 27 Jul 2026. Congress discloses value bands, not exact figures, so every total here is built from band midpoints and the true number cannot be known from the filings. The median trade this week was filed 113 days after it was executed.

What the most members traded
Ranked by how many different filers touched the name, not by trade count. Four trades from one person is usually several accounts; four people is a pattern.
Filed late
The STOCK Act requires disclosure within 45 days. The penalty for a first breach is a $200 fee, which is the entire enforcement mechanism.

Straight answers
How quickly do these trades appear?
As soon as they are filed, which is not the same as as soon as they happen. The STOCK Act gives members 45 days from a transaction to disclose it, and many use most of that. This page is a record of what became public in the last seven days, and each row shows how long the gap was.
Why are the amounts ranges rather than figures?
Because that is all Congress discloses. Members report a band — $1,001 to $15,000, $15,001 to $50,000, and so on — so nobody outside the filer knows the exact size. Every total on this page uses the midpoint of the band, which is the conventional estimate and is systematically imprecise in both directions.
Does a member of Congress buying a stock mean anything?
Sometimes, and far less often than the framing suggests. Many members hold assets in blind or managed accounts and do not direct the trades at all. The cases worth attention are the ones where a member sits on a committee with authority over the company, and where the trade is large relative to their disclosed wealth. We show the committee where we hold it.
Do you cover the executive branch too?
Yes. Senior executive-branch officials file under the same disclosure regime and appear here labelled as such. Their filings often lack the days-to-file figure that congressional filings carry.
What is in the email that is not on this page?
The same data, delivered once a week so you do not have to remember to look, plus the busiest filers of the week. The page is the archive; the email is the habit.
