About Subaru

Subaru Corporation manufactures and sells automobiles and aerospace products in Japan, Asia, North America, Europe, and Internationally. The company operates through three segments: Automotive, Aerospace, and Others. It manufactures, sells, and repairs automobiles and the parts; aircraft, space-related equipment, and the parts; and rents real estate properties. In addition, the company engages in the lease of production tools such as dies, network devices, and terminal equipment, as well as for real estate such as stores, company housing, and warehouses for the automotive business. It is also involved in manufacture and sale of automotive parts; and leasing of land and equipment activities. The company was formerly known as Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. and changed its name to Subaru Corporation in April 2017. Subaru Corporation was founded in 1917 and is headquartered in Shibuya, Japan.
