Terms of use

Using SteadyShares means agreeing to these terms. They are short on purpose; the plain-English meaning is the intended meaning.

Education, not advice

Everything on SteadyShares - ratings, moat scores, fair value estimates, screens, calculators, articles, and the AI assistant - is educational information, not investment, tax, or legal advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. We are not a broker, adviser, or fiduciary. Markets can and do go down; you alone are responsible for your decisions, ideally alongside a qualified adviser who knows your situation.

Accuracy

We compute our numbers from sources we document on the methodology page and we correct errors when found, but data arrives from third parties with delays and mistakes, and estimates are estimates. The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last twelve months.

Fair use

Personal, non-commercial use is welcome, including exporting your own screens. Scraping the site wholesale, reselling the data, hammering the API beyond its published limits, or misrepresenting SteadyShares content as your own is not. API keys are personal and revocable on abuse.

Accounts and termination

You can delete your account at any time and we will remove your personal data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If a term is unenforceable the rest still stand, and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
