The company offers display panels for televisions; monitors; IT products comprising notebook computers, desktop monitors, and tablet computers; laptops; smartphones and smartwatches; mobile phones and watches; automobiles; and other products with display devices. It also engages in the operation and management of welfare facilities; management of intellectual properties; production and sale of LCD modules and monitor sets; and investment in venture businesses and technologies. The company exports its products. The company was formerly known as LG.Philips LCD CO., Ltd. and changed its name to LG Display Co., Ltd. in March 2008. LG Display Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1985 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
